Ploughing Up Our Past
Cumnock History Group has secured funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to research farms in Old Cumnock and its neighbouring parishes of Auchinleck, New Cumnock and Ochiltree with the support of the Coalfield Communities Landscape Partnership. We aim to record all farms including those which are no longer there. We will investigate farming life and changes.
